Boom Boom Brazil

2014 • 24 Minutes

A young Canadian band called The Boom Booms travels to the heart of the Amazon on foot and investigates the social, political and cultural challenges surrounding the controversial construction of the world’s largest hydroelectric dam, Belo Monte. Through music, they are able to gain access to places regular tourists often do not. Come along with them as they experience the vast ups and downs of navigating a foreign place with as much vigor and grace as they can muster.
