    Amid the growing nuclear threat, Maki, granddaughter of a Hiroshima survivor, strives to preserve the memory of the horror and faces social stigma associated with irradiated families. Evelyn, originally from the Marshall Islands, lost her homeland to American nuclear testing and advocates for justice and recognition of her people's suffering. Through their testimonies, they raise issues of historical revisionism, new nuclear weapons, global contamination, and the insufficient voices of survivors to counter a nuclear resurgence.
